Your ancestral village was in Vohlyn before OPERACJA "WISLA" - OPERATION code named "VISTULA" . I am sure you know the history.

There is an 88 year old man, Mykola Kovalchuk (Микола Ковальчук),
who married a girl from your ancestral village and tells the story that
after being evicted from Poland, he with a group is forced to go to
Odessa region where they are very unhappy. By horseback, they make
their way back to selo Zvirovi, near Lutsk, where they spend the winter.
Then they settle in Mizhlissia/Міжлісся in Volodymir-Volynsk. Mizhlissia
has 61 residents. I don't know if the old man is still alive, but consider writing the Village Administration and asking about him or any others possibly from Szpikolosy/Шпіколоси. Maybe someone knows what happened to any surviving family you may have??? It's worth the try.
